Bradford Dudley Hill u-15s 24 Keighley Albion u-15s 20
KEIGHLEY Albion under-15s led three times in their pre-season friendly at Dudley Hill but a tackle on Edward Croft, who had to retire with concussion, had a significant bearing on the final outcome.
After going behind early on, two tries by Nathan Dickinson gave Albion a 12-8 interval lead before the incident, which led to the home side losing a player to the sin-bin.
Without any substitutes, there was no numerical advantage to Albion who were down by two points at the time. Harry Webster’s try restored their lead with ten minutes to play to keep the game in the balance but, back to full strength, Dudley Hill finished the game strongly.
Xander McConville’s last-minute try for Albion was just a consolation.
