Brotherton u-12s 0 Keighley Albion u-12s 58

A FANTASTIC team display saw Albion romp to a comprehensive victory.

Keighley showed great line defence and determination to keep a clean sheet.

Tolly Lickley produced a barnstorming run to crash over next to the sticks for the opening try. From the restart, the ball fell to Jack Tetley for him to run on the outside from 60 metres to score under the posts.

A great run up the centre by Lucas Evans laid the platform for the outstanding Barry Henn to score from half-back.

Then man of the match Sam Wild scored his first try with a lovely jinking run from 20 metres out.

Benedict Crowley crashed over before powerful running by Noel Durkin saw Wild weave his way over for another try before the break.

Keighley continued where they left off after the break as Wild completed his hat-trick and was set up by Tetley for his fourth, Tetley producing a great conversion from the touchline.

Noel Durkin, Wild and Leon Palmer were among those to add to the try scoresheet before Lickley put the icing on the cake with the final conversion.

That saw him win the magic moment, while Connor Armsden claimed the top tackler award and Wild won three man of the match prizes.
