IT came as no surprise when Wharfedale’s selectors named an unchanged side for this Saturday’s trip to Leicester Lions.

The men who performed so well in the 37-0 win over Stourbridge have been charged with the task of trying to register a first National League Two North win of the season at third-placedLeicester Lions.

The only alteration is on the bench where fit-again James Tincknell is named among the replacements.

He scored a try on his return to action for the Development XV last week and coach James Doherty is glad to have him back playing again.

“It was good for him to get some game time last week. He was originally selected for the Foresters, but when their game at Ilkley was called off he was switched to the Development XV.

“He is a quality player and now he needs to build up his game time.”

Tincknell’s return, coming hard on the heels of skipper Rob Baldwin’s comeback is a welcome boost inWharfedale’s bid to avoid relegation.
