SKIPTON opened their Yorkshire Four campaign with a convincing four-try victory over their South Yorkshire rivals.
Mattie Langstaff converted three of the four tries and added a penalty goal.
In wet and greasy conditions the home side were keen to take the game away from the scrum where Skipton dominated.
The first try of the half was secured by Langstaff, for the visitors, quickly followed by a second from winger Josh Smith.
The second period saw a similar pattern with the Skipton forwards dominating and Langstaff got his his side's third try,
Hamish Munro crashed over for their fourth to secure the bonus point.
Man of the match for Skipton Rick Wilshire for an outstanding performance in the second row.
