Skipton and North Ribblesdale land home draws in Yorkshire Shield quarter finals

Skipton and North Ribblesdale have both landed home draws in the quarter-finals of the Yorkshire Shield.

The Reds, who have defeated Yorkshire Division One sides Keighley and Ilkley in reaching the last eight, entertain Yorkshire Division Two promotion chasers Barnsley.

North Ribblesdale’s reward for seeing off the challenge of Acklam is a home encounter with fellow Yorkshire Division One side Pontefract on Saturday, February 25.

The draw keeps alive the possibility of an all Craven final.

In the two remaining ties Bridlington play hosts to West Park Leeds while Yarnbury will have home advantage against Selby.
