Injury’hit Wharfedale face their biggest tests of the season when they take on National League One leaders Rosslyn Park at The Avenue on Saturday.

After narrowly losing the first match at pre-season favourites Ealing Trailfinders, Rosslyn Park’s only slip-up to date has been a draw at Cinderford.

Nine successive victories have taken them to the top of the table.

The famous London club recruited well in the close season and are now reaping the benefits, with some fine wins against the league’s fancied sides.

Wharfedale’s selection reflects the growing list of injuries, but subject to late fitness tests on a couple of players, it is as follows:

Wharfedale: Christian Georgiou; Lloyd Davies, Andy Hodgson (captain), Matt Clark, Nick Taylor; Luke Gray, James Gough; Joe Altham, Steve Graham, Adam Howard, Richard Brown, Richard Rhodes, James Tyson, Dan Solomi, Alastair Allen. Replacements: Adam Mason, Tom McGee, Dominic Barrow, Will Bell, Joe Donkin.
