North Ribblesdale and Wharfedale are looking forward to their annual Yuletide contest, which this year is at the Avenue on Boxing Day (kick-off 2.15pm). Admission is £5, the proceeds being dedicated to the memory of Antony Capstick, the product of the Settle club who became a Wharfedale stalwart for many years abd was killed in a motor cycle accident.
Wharfedale supporters will be delighted to see pocket rocket Philip Woodhead, fit again after a very long absence through injury.
Wharfedale: Prell; Druce, Crabtree, Bell, Croft; H Bullough, J Bullough; Dickinson, Stockdale, Freeman, Mason, Burnett, Whyte, Howick, Wareing. Replacements: Rhodes, McGee, Baines, Altham, McRobert, Woodhead, Simpson, Gill.
