WHARFEDALE will open their SSE Yorkshire Division One fixtures next season with a tough trip to Coventry on Saturday, September 5.

The Midlanders finished third last season, while Greens' first home match comes the following Saturday against Esher, who beat them 26-8 in Surrey as recently as April 18 in the penultimate match of the 2014-15 campaign.

Wharfedale will again have Yorkshire opposition next season following the promotion of champions Doncaster Knights and the demotion of Hull Ionians in 2013-14.

The Humbersiders have bounced straight back up by winning National League Two North, and the Dalesmen visit East Yorkshire on December 12 before hosting them on April 16.

Other derbies are Darlington Mowden Park (home October 10, away January 30), and Fylde (home December 19, away April 23).

Newcomers, Ionians apart, are Plymouth Albion, who have been relegated from the Championship, Henley Hawks, who won National League Two South, and Ampthill & District, who won the play-off between the runners-up of Two North and Two South.
