Scottish Premier side Stirling County’s visit to Wharfedale for a pre-season friendly has been put back a week until Saturday, August 14 at the visitors’ request.
The Dalesmen aren’t unhappy about the switch, however, as it gives them more preparation time for their initial friendly.
And it will be a severe test as Stirling County’s league programme begins the following Saturday and their players will be out to impress their selectors.
