League record broken as the bowlers have plenty to say

The weather still continues to have a big say in the outcome of matches. Bowlers were on top in the main with plenty of low scores on Saturday in the Mewies Solicitors Craven & District League.

Another week of wet weather led to grounds being like puddings and this was reflected in Saturday's games with only two totals over 200 and plenty of low scores with bowlers on top.

There was another twist in the First Division title race on Saturday as leaders Thornton lost and Cullingworth won to go back to the top. At the other end - possibly the shock of the season - Haworth lost and are relegated.
