Twin bill weekend in Ribb League

Barnoldswick, Earby and Settle can all look forward to a double-header weekend after all three had matches rained off last Saturday.

Lancashire Knock-out Cup hopefuls saw their match at fellow mid-table side Cherry Tree abandoned, while home games for Barnoldswick and Settle were also abandoned. They were to play Whalley and Great Harwood, respectively.

This Saturday sees the renewal of a local derby as Earby host Settle at Applegarth. Barnoldswick will be seeking their first league win away to Edenfield.

On Sunday Earby are away to league leaders Baxenden, who suffered a one-wicket defeat in the Ramsbottom Cup final at the hands of Blacburn Northern last Sunday.

Settle host Ribblesdale Wanderers at Marshfield while Barlick play Oswaldtwistle Immanuel at home.
