Old Brodleians 46 Skipton 5 With both teams already guaranteed promotion the tension had gone out of this game but with Brods totally unbeaten in the league this season they showed their supremacy with an easy win over the Reds who were far from their best.

Leodensians 16 Skipton 17 Saturday was a day of celebration for the Reds when they gained promotion to Yorkshire Division 1for the first time ever and next season they will be playing at their highest level since the league system started.

Goole 27 Skipton 7 After occupying a promotion place since the start of the season it is so disappointing to see the Reds now performing so badly against low placed teams and thus putting their prospects for promotion in jeapordy. Losing to second from bottom Dinnington two weeks ago could be excused as a blip but being totally outplayed on Saturday by third from bottom Goole was a total humiliation.

Skipton 13 Dininnington 17 No excuses. This was a poor display by Skipton. The high-flying Reds looked lethargic whilst Dinnington, desperate to stave off relegation at the other end of the table, were full of initiative and energy and deserved to collect the winning points.
