CLEMENCE Barbara Passed away with dignity and peacefully at home in Crosshills on December 14, 2019, aged 90 A much-loved mum, nanna, and great-nanna. Barbara's much loved son, Stephen, wishes to thank the whole of the Craven medical team for their support in allowing mum her last wishes to be at home. He would also like to give huge thanks to Care@ Carers' Resource for their outstanding professionalism by caring sensitively and consistently meeting Barbara's needs. A service will be held at Parkwood Crematorium, Elland, on Friday, January 17 at 1.30pm. Family flowers only. Any donations please to Dementia UK or Sight Airedale (Charles Bonnet syndrome). Jacksons Funeral Services, Silsden, will provide a collection box at the crematorium.

Well mum,you are now free from all the suffering you have had over the last few years,your witty,camp sense of humour and all your little unique sayings have kept us all in stitches even up to the end.I will always treasure the fond memories spent with you at "Funny Girls" ,Orient Express,"Sisters Slim" and so so many more happy gay times.You certainly were a "One Off " they broke the mould when they made you .Good night, God bless and fly high mum your loving son Darrell X X

Despite my early wayward years mum,I always new you loved me and have never turned me away. I,m so glad you were able to see me turn my life around and you were so happy for me. I wIll cherish all the happy memories of our fun nights out in town, you were always so young at heart and ready for a good laugh . You lived your life to the full . Mum you are now at peace with nan, grandad and Keith which Is what you wanted.
I loved you then and I love you now and I will love you forever. I know I couldn't be with you in your final hours but that was not my choice, I would of held your hand till the end. You know and only you know how much we loved you and I know you will always be by my side.
Ellie is your double and she will say her own goodbye, no one will ever take her nan away.
Adaline still has to have 2 little dickie birds before she will go to sleep.
We love you mum, the strong woman that you have made us all. A very strong, special lady, who gave her life to her kids, no matter what issues they had, they were hers. Im sure you will look after them all mum, in what ever help they need.
Love you, night god bless, until we meet again, I will be the strong woman you made me and I will pass that through to your generations x
