METCALFE Frederick (Fred) (also known as Freddie in his younger days.) Suddenly at home on June 6 aged 82. Dearly loved husband of Mavis and loved dad of Alison. Son of the late Harry and Doris Metcalfe, both formerly of Hawes. Retired joiner who worked for Harker's Joinery spending a lot of time in the Joiners Shop at Hetton. Private cremation due to current restrictions. A memorial service will be arranged at a later date.
