ASHWORTH Dorothy Elizabeth With deep sadness we announce the passing of Dot. Dot passed away peacefully at The Dales Care Home, Draughton, on September 26, 2020, after a hard fought battle with Alzheimer's. A wonderful wife and soulmate of Roy, mother of Alexandra and much loved nanna of George. Due to restrictions a private funeral will be held at Skipton Crematorium on October 9, 2020. A celebration of Dot's life will be held at a later date for family and friends. Thanks to all who were involved with Dots care including Fisher Medical Centre, Dr Kamath and his team, Debbie at Social Services, all the staff at the Dales Care Home who cared for Dot with so much dignity and compassion and lastly, Chris and Lara of H. Eaton and Sons, Ilkley who have done a wonderful job in such trying times. THANK YOU ALL. Donations can be sent to the Alzheimer's Society or Brooke Hospital for Animals.
