HEALD Val On July 17 2021, peacefully at her home in Skipton, after a short illness bravely borne, Val aged 72 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Barrie, devoted mum of Linsey and Karen, mother-in-law to Phil and Mark, adored grandma of Jake, Ella and Molly, cherished aunty of Julie, Alan, Abbie and Ellie, a dear and special companion to Colin, and treasured friend to the Fattorini family and also many current and past colleagues at Skipton Castle. Her funeral service will take place at Skipton Crematorium on Thursday, August 5, at 10.50am. No flowers please, donations if desired to Sue Ryder and Macmillan, via val-heald.muchloved.com at the service or c/o Howcrofts' Funeral Services, Skipton BD23 2EJ.
