SHARP Doreen (Mac) Passed away peacefully at home at Hollins Hall, Killinghall on 17th October, formerly of Stoneybers, Airton also Higherlands, Gargrave. Beloved wife of Frank, much loved mum of Elaine and Denise, grandma of Rosina, April and Michael and loving great-grandma, she will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Service will take place at St Michael's Church, Kirkby Malham, on Wednesday, November 3rd at 12.30pm, followed by burial in the churchyard. Donations for the Macular Society may be given at the service or c/o Brook Smith & Son, Skipton. Can we politely request that masks are worn inside the Church.

As teenagers back in the 70s we spent many a happy hour after the youth club up at Stonybers. Mac and Frank were great hosts to us young’uns. Mac was a wonderful lady with a brilliant sense of humour, she’ll be sadly missed by many but she’s definitely a lady I’ll never forget. My sincere condolences to Frank, Elaine and Denise.
