DAVIES Alan James The family of Alan James Davies would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for their constant support, expressions of sympathy, cards and donations. Sincere Thanks to all who attended the Celebration of Life Service and for the generous donations to Macmillan nurses and Leeds Cares MR Sim Appeal. Special Thanks to the Macmillan nurses team at Airedale hospital, doctors and nurses at Leeds St James and the District Nurses. Extra special thanks to the friends who helped with transport and gave ongoing support. Also special thanks to Laura at Denis Hartley & Son Funeral Service for the kindness and professionalism and Rev David Penney for the lovely service. Not forgetting sincere Thanks to Peter Elgie, Peter Brierley and Phil Vernon for their interesting tributes for Alan's life and The President, past Presidents, Captain and past Captains of Colne golf club in their formation of Guard of Honour.
