Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning
(Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 OTS^S of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.
Craven District Council has received the following applications that are required to be advertised it under the above legislation for the reasons stated. Application No: 2020/21339/FUL. Proposal: Change of use of land from agriculture to provide training facility, office and bunk barn to accommodate outdoor activities business, with associated new access, infrastructure and ancillary facilities for Saiig Outdoors. Location: Kirksteads Croft Road Ingleton LA6 3DU Reason(s): Would affect the route of a public right of way.
Application No: 2020/21349/LBC. Proposal: Replacement of porch/conservatory roof and frames for Mr Ronald Allan. Location: Bridge Cottage Moor Lane Elslack BD23 3BA Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.
Application No: 2019/21232/FUL. Proposal: 3 no. Proposed detached dwellings for Mr Stephen Mulloy. Location: Land Adjacent To 1 Mulberry Court Sutton-in-Craven Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which
the application relates is situated.
Application No: 2019/21304/FUL. Proposal: Conversion of Field Barn to a 1 bedroom dwelling with associated access & car parking. Conversion of roadside barn to a 4 bedroom dwelling with associated access & car parking. Partial demolition of a storage barn and conversion of the retained part into a 3 bedroom dwelling with associated access & car parking. Construction of a garage block for Mr T.M.J Stoddart-Scott. Location: Bend Gate House Long Preston BD23 4QR Reason(s): Is a proposal for demolition of an unlisted
building in a Conservation Area. Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation
Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.
Application No: 2019/21209/FUL. Proposal: Proposed agricultural building and access track to highway for Mrs S J Sugden. Location: Land To NE Of High Pole Farm Pole Road Sutton-in-Craven Reason(s): Would affect the route of a public right of way. Application No: 2020/21342/VAR. Proposal: Vary condition 4 (materials in accordance with approved plans) of 2018/19825/HH to allow UPVC windows for Mr and Mrs McLean. Location: 11 Greenroyd Court Sutton-in-Craven BD20 7NY Reason(s): Affects the
character and appearance of a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2020/21324/FUL. Proposal: Installation of two new roof lights to first floor elevation, matching existing for North Yorkshire Police. Location: 1 Cragdale Lodge
Duke Street Settle BD24 9DU Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a
Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.
Application No: 2019/21289/LBC. Proposal: Removal of timber fencing and replacement
with Beech hedgerow and dry stone wall to southern end of eastern site boundary
(Previous application 2019/21070/LBC) for Mr Francis Bayliss. Location: Scaleber Farm Back Lane Low Bentham Lancaster LA2 8NZ Reason(s): Affects the setting of a Listed
Building.
Application No: 2020/21345/HH. Proposal: Wall alterations, construction of wall with fence, removal of existing walling and removal of tree for Mr David Ball. Location: 5 The Bailey Skipton BD23 1AP. Reason(s): Affects the setting of a Listed Building. Affects the
character and appearance of a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2019/21309/FUL. Proposal: Change of Use from ground floor retail to
residential to be incorporated with floors above to form one single dwelling house and reinstatement of original residential frontage for Mr S Humphreys. Location: 21 Duke Street Settle BD24 9DJ. Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a
Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.
Application No: 2020/21333/FUL. Proposal: 60 foot restaurant trip boat for tourist group dining, commercial company activities, local and tourist dining, exhibitions, product
launches, private anniversaries etc. All carried out whilst cruising not whilst moored, for
WW Hotels T/A Rendezvous. Location: Tow Path To Rear Of Rendezvous Hotel Keighley
Road Skipton. Reason(s): Would affect the route of a public right of way.
The applications are available to view and for comment online at https://publicaccess.
cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.
Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue
Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 20th February 2020. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from
appearing on the comments published on the internet.
In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission for a householder (HH)
application, that is considered on the basis of representations in writing. Any
representations made will be sent to the Secretary of State and there will be no further opportunity to comment at the appeal stage.
Decisions are normally made within eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major planning
applications). Details of the decision will not automatically be sent to those that have made comments. The applications progress can be tracked at https://publicaccess. cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications
