ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL FOSTER ROAD, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works proposed to be executed on or near Foster Road, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Foster Road from its junction with South Street to its junction with Oakfield Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Foster Road (unaffected section), Queens Road, Ingrow Lane, South Street and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on 27th September 2021 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 8th October 2021 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
