Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 North Yorkshire County Council Footpath no's 05.23/14 & 05.23/16 Calm Slate Farm, Halton East Diversion Order 2017
The above Order, made on 26 September 2017, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpaths described below and modify The Definitive Map and Statement for the District of Craven (Outside the Yorkshire Dales National Park) statement accordingly. FP 05.23/14 from GR SE 0393 5415 to GR SE 0348 5424 will be diverted onto a new route via GR SE 0392 5416 and SE 0395 5417 to a field gate at GR SE 0394 5418, then generally north west to a field gate at GR SE 0384 5426, then west to a kissing gate at GR SE 0376 5427 then generally west to GR SE 0348 5424.
A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Skipton Library, High Street, Skipton, BD23 1JX until 02 November 2017. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from Waste & Countryside Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Ron Allan, Definitive Map Officer, at the above address to arrive not later than 02 November 2017. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
