Craven District Council has received the following applications that are required to be advertised it under the above legislation for the reasons stated.
Application No: 2017/18729/HH. Proposal: Retrospective application for erection of raised platform to rear of dwelling for Mrs Gina Lazenby. Location: 6 Moorland Avenue Back Ermysted Skipton BD23 2EZ Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2017/18596/FUL. Proposal: Construction of detached dwelling with associated double garage and turning area for Mr Pickard. Location: Land Off Rook Street Lothersdale BD20 8EH Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building. Does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.
Application No: 2017/18753/FUL. Proposal: Residential development of 10 dwellings including demolition of existing dwelling at no. 32 Greenroyd Drive to provide access off Greenroyd Drive and associated works for Mr R Summerskill. Location: Land West Of Greenroyd Drive Sutton In Craven BD20 7LY Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building. Does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated. Is a Major Development proposal.
Application No: 2017/18744/OUT. Proposal: Outline application for a residential development of 4 dwellings – access, appearance, layout and scale applied for with all other matters reserved for Mr & Mrs L Fell. Location: Land South Of Station Road Giggleswick BD24 0AB Reason(s): Does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.
Application No: 2017/18739/HH. Proposal: Single storey extension to existing barn conversion and two storey extension to existing garage to form gym/studio & home office/occasional bedroom for Mr & Mrs Hopkins. Location: 39 High Street Gargrave BD23 3RA Reason(s): Affects the setting of a Listed Building. Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Is a proposal for demolition of an unlisted building in a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2017/18738/HH. Proposal: Single storey extension to front of property to provide entrance/utility area and ground floor WC for Mr Dean Simpson. Location: Sycamore House Cow Lane (east) Cowling BD22 0AW Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2017/18743/FUL. Proposal: Residential development of 10 dwellings including creation of village green for Broughton Custodian Fund c/o agent. Location: Land Off Gargrave Road Broughton Village Reason(s): Does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated. Is a Major Development proposal. The applications are available to view and for comment online at https://publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications  or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ. Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 21st December 2017. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet. In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission for a householder (HH) application, that is considered on the basis of representations in writing. Any representations made will be sent to the Secretary of State and there will be no further opportunity to comment at the appeal stage. Decisions are normally made within eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major planning applications). Details of the decision will not automatically be sent to those that have made comments.
