Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning
(Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A
of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.
Craven District Council has received the following applications that are required to be
advertised it under the above legislation for the reasons stated.
Application No: 2018/19295/FUL. Proposal: Replacement of windows from white painted defective timber
to heritage ‘timber effect’ UPVC for Mr D C Mills. Location: 24A Coach Street Skipton BD23 1LH Reason(s):
Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2018/19298/LBC. Proposal: Listed building application for internal alterations to remodel
kitchen; utility room and ground floor WC and for the provision of an en-suite shower room to the principle
bedroom. Replacement of existing windows to the south elevation. Amended windows and door openings to
the rear elevation for Mrs Susan Beazley. Location: 11 South Street Gargrave BD23 3RT Reason(s): Proposes
works to a Listed Building.
Application No: 2018/19311/HH. Proposal: Replacement windows and doors to front and rear for Mr And Mrs
Stephen John And Anne Virginia Wilkinson. Location: 15 Whinfield Court Skipton BD23 2UY Reason(s): Affects
the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.
Application No: 2018/19320/FUL. Proposal: Four extra car parking spaces added to North of car park for
Craven College. Location: Craven College Aireville Campus Gargrave Road Skipton BD23 1US Reason(s):
Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2018/19285/LBC. Proposal: Remove 20th Century concrete and steel stair and install
enclosed passenger lift and associated works within main part of building. Remove partially built lift shaft and
reinstate access to rear part of building. Form new openings to rear part of stage and between main part of

Street Austwick Reason(s): Would affect the route of a public right of way. Does not accord with the provisions of
the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.
Application No: 2018/19376/OUT. Proposal: Outline application with some matters reserved for construction

2018/18879/FUL for the resiting of houses 3 & 4 and 5 & 6 for Dalesview Developments. Location: Bay Horse
Ellers Road Sutton-in-craven Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects
the setting of a Listed Building.
Application No: 2018/19317/HH. Proposal: Proposed first floor side extension for Mrs Michelle Martin.

Application No: 2018/19325/LBC. Proposal: Listed Building Consent to replace four defective double glazed
timber windows with powder-coated aluminium double glazed windows; replace three existing external timber
doors with factory painted Acoya wood doors and paint the remaining woodwork to match the new doors and

Application No: 2018/19302/HH. Proposal: Proposed porch extensions for Mr & Mrs Cruzinho.
Location: 44 Greatwood Avenue Skipton BD23 2RT Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of
a Conservation Area.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road,
Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 28th June 2018. All comments received will be available for
public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we
will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the
comments published on the internet.
In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission for a householder (HH) application, that is
considered on the basis of representations in writing. Any representations made will be sent to the Secretary of
State and there will be no further opportunity to comment at the appeal stage.
Decisions are normally made within eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major planning applications). Details of the
decision will not automatically be sent to those that have made comments. The applications progress can be
