Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.
Craven District Council has received the following applications that
are required to be advertised it under the above legislation for the
reasons stated.
Application No: 2018/19224/LBC. Proposal: Listed building
application for change of use of the existing barn to dwelling. Insertion
of two windows into the ground floor rear elevation and four new
conservation style roof lights into the roof for Mr N Machin. Location:
Gruskham Barn Mewith LA2 7AX Reason(s): Proposes works to a
Listed Building.
Application No: 2018/19314/FUL. Proposal: Demolition of existing
agricultural buildings and construction of new house for Mrs Rosemary
Berry. Location: Old Shippon Site Park Farm Park Lane Cowling
Reason(s): Does not accord with the provisions of the development
plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application
relates is situated.
Application No: 2018/19353/FUL. Proposal: Replacement of existing
windows with new double glazed uPVC windows for Yorkshire Housing.
Location: 1-4 Riversdale Giggleswick BD24 0AW Reason(s): Affects
the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2018/19150/FUL. Proposal: Proposed bungalow
at Well Spring Farm for Mr Thompson. Location: Well Spring Farm
Lothersdale Road Glusburn BD20 8JD Reason(s): Would affect the
route of a public right of way.
Application No: 2018/19307/LBC. Proposal: Listed Building Consent

works to a Listed Building.
Application No: 2018/19390/LBC. Proposal: Renovation of farmhouse
including removal of 20th Century insertions, original internal walls and
external porch. Insertion of new partitions, damp-proofing, structural
steelwork, replacement double glazed windows and doors, plumbing
and heating system, electrical system, kitchen and bathrooms for
Chatsworth Settlement Trustees. Location: White House Chapel Lane
Halton East BD23 6EH Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.
Application No: 2018/19367/FUL. Proposal: Development of 2 No.
detached houses for Mr & Mrs R Pryke. Location: Land Off Chapel
Hill Skipton Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a
Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building. Would affect
the route of a public right of way.
Application No: 2018/19346/FUL. Proposal: Proposed conversion
of a traditional barn to form two dwellings, and associated car-port and
curtilage for Mr T Priestley. Location: Lane House Farm High Bentham
LA2 7DH Reason(s): Affects the setting of a Listed Building.
Application No: 2018/19329/VAR. Proposal: Application to vary
condition no’s 2 (approved plans) and 27 (external walls) of original
planning approval referenced 21/2016/17019 to change the wording of
condition 2 so that it is relevant to the new plans and condition 27 to allow
the limited use of materials other than stone for Candelisa. Location:
Station Works Cononley Lane Cononley BD20 8LN Reason(s): Affects
the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the
setting of a Listed Building. Does not accord with the provisions of the
development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the
application relates is situated. Is a Major Development proposal.
Application No: 2018/19223/FUL. Proposal: Change of use of the

The applications are available to view and for comment online
at https://publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications or
electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.
Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management,
1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive
no later than 5th July 2018. All comments received will be available
for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along
with the application details. However, we will endeavour to
prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from
appearing on the comments published on the internet.
In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission for
a householder (HH) application, that is considered on the basis of
representations in writing. Any representations made will be sent to the
Secretary of State and there will be no further opportunity to comment
at the appeal stage.
Decisions are normally made within eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for
major planning applications). Details of the decision will not automatically
be sent to those that have made comments. The applications progress
