Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

Craven District Council has received the following applications that are required to be advertised it under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: 2017/18476/FUL. Proposal: Revised design of proposed dwellinghouse to supersede previous planning approvals for Mr E Mangham. Location: Parcel Of Land to Eastern Side of No. 16 Ickornshaw Cowling BD22 0DH Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building. Would affect the route of a public right of way.

Application No: 2018/19352/FUL. Proposal: Proposed development of 6 light industrial/commercial units (B1/B2 use class) – amended design and layout pursuant to extant planning permission 32/2008/8571 for Skipton Properties Ltd. Location: Land To South East Of Riparian Way Cross Hills Reason(s): Does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated. Is a Major Development proposal.

Application No: 2018/19388/HH. Proposal: Proposed ancillary single storey garden room with a pitched roof for Mr Jon Evans. Location: 4 Hall Gardens Farnhill BD20 9AF Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: 2018/19379/HH. Proposal: Installation of 3 no. rooflights for Mr Jeremy Jones. Location: Currier Cottage 14 Victoria Street Settle BD24 9HD Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Location: Land South of Paget Hall Church Street Gargrave Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building. Does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.

Application No: 2018/19382/HH. Proposal: Proposed two storey front extension, dormer window and detached garage (re-submission of approved application reference 2017/18610/HH) for Mr & Mrs Oakden. Location: Cherry Trees Moorfoot Lane Cononley BD20 8LX Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2018/19294/LBC. Proposal: Listed building consent for; 1) removal of internal stone cladding and re-plaster in living room; 2) remove modern stone hearth to reveal original fireplace and install woodburner, line chimney and install internal flue; 3) install larger replacement window in rear barn door; 4) replace external yard door with like for like for Ms Catherine Connolly. Location: 9 Kings Street Skipton BD23 1HD Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: 2018/19386/FUL. Proposal: Proposed erection of 9 no. dwellings (outline consent appeal reference APP/C2708/W/16/3144209, CDC ref 26/2015/16037) (re-submission of withdrawn application reference 2018/19116/FUL) for Snell Developments Ltd. Location: Land to the East of Laurel Croft Embsay Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 12th July 2018. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet.

In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission for a householder (HH) application, that is considered on the basis of representations in writing. Any representations made will be sent to the Secretary of State and there will be no further opportunity to comment at the appeal stage.
