Notice under Article 13 of the Town &
Country Planning (Development Management
Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the
Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation
Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the
Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation
Areas) Regulations 1990.
Craven District Council has received the following applications that
are required to be advertised it under the above legislation for the
reasons stated.
Application No: 2018/19403/HH. Proposal: Internal alterations and
extension for Mrs Amanda Oakden. Location: The Lodge Colne Road
Glusburn BD20 8DS Reason(s): Affects the setting of a Listed Building.
Application No: 2018/19404/LBC. Proposal: Internal alterations and
extension for Mrs Amanda Oakden. Location: The Lodge Colne Road
Glusburn BD20 8DS Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.
Application No: 2018/19433/HH. Proposal: Proposed side extension
with associated external works for Mr S Pighills & Ms T Ward. Location:
Thorncroft Cam Lane Thornton In Craven Skipton BD23 3SX Reason(s):
Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.
Application No: 2018/19441/VAR. Proposal: Variation of condition
17 of outline application reference 63/2012/13167 granted 13th March
2013 to require highway improvement works to be approved before
the occupation of 30 dwellings instead of prior to the commencement
of the development for Keyhaven Homes Limited. Location: Land At
North Parade Skipton BD23 2ST Reason(s): Does not accord with the
provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land
to which the application relates is situated. Would affect the route of a
public right of way. Is a Major Development proposal.
The applications are available to view and for comment online
at https://publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications or
electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.
Representations can also be sent in writing to Development
Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ
so as to arrive no later than 26th July 2018. All comments received
will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on
the internet along with the application details. However, we
will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and
email addresses from appearing on the comments published
on the internet.
In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission for
a householder (HH) application, that is considered on the basis of
representations in writing. Any representations made will be sent to the
Secretary of State and there will be no further opportunity to comment
at the appeal stage.
Decisions are normally made within eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major
planning applications). Details of the decision will not automatically be
sent to those that have made comments. The applications progress can
