A former South Craven School pupil is to stage a drama which won rave reviews at the Edinburgh Festival last year.
Matthew Heseltine’s young company, Impulse Collective, is bringing the hit show Exposed to Upstairs at the Carriageworks, Leeds, for one night on Tuesday from 7.45pm.
When it was performed in Edinburgh, it received a five star rating and was described as “one of the slickest productions I have seen. Bursting with energy and hard to categorise” and “an intelligent and creative piece of physical theatre”.
Matthew, who was also a pupil at Steeton Primary School, studied A-level theatre studies at South Craven School.
He attended The School of the Arts, Northampton University and then formed Impulse Collective.
He said: “We weave real people’s stories, thoughts and feelings into energetic and thought-provoking physical ensemble movement pieces.”
Tickets for the performance are £10 for adults and £8 for concessions. The box office is 0113 224 3801.
