SKIPTON: Pinsuti, the Ilkley and Skipton chamber choir conducted by Robert Webb, will celebrate 'Alleluia' in a concert being held at 7.30pm tomorrow at Christ Church in Skipton.

The concert will feature a selection of sacred pieces, all celebrating the word 'Alleluia' in a diverse set of ways.

Tickets cost £8 and are available from choir members or on the door.

The Pink Floyd tribute band What the Floyd? will perform at 7.30pm on Sunday in The Mart Theatre.

Sedbergh Orchestra will perform live during a screening of The Battle of the Somme film at 3.30pm on Sunday in Skipton Town Hall.

The performance is part of the Somme100 FILM project which marks 100 years since the battle.

Dean Taylor Theatre Productions will present two outdoor picnic performances of the comedy Heroes at 2pm and 6pm on Saturday, July 15, at Skipton Castle.

The play is set in 1959 in a French retirement home for First World War veterans.

Skipton Building Society Camerata will perform the concert Children of the Revolution at 7.30pm on Friday, July 14, in Skipton Town Hall.

The all-Beethoven programme, conducted by Ben Crick, features talented German violinist Sebastian Mueller performing the Violin Concerto in D followed by Beethoven's Symphony No 3 in E flat 'Eroica'

Langcliffe Singers will be joined by Skipton Music Centre Choir for a summer concert celebrating the work of French composer Gabriel Fauré. The concert will be held at 7.30pm on Saturday at Christ Church in Skipton.

KVU Singers, a choir based in Sutton-in-Craven, will join forces with Colne-based Pendle Youth Choir for a joint concert in aid of Cancer Research.

Special prints by Bradford artist Danny Abrahams are being sold at an exhibition to help raise money for the Principle Trust, a Skipton children's charity.

AC Gallery, at 2 Victoria Street, Skipton, will exhibit Danny's work from this Saturday to Saturday, July 15.

Danny himself will be in attendance at a showcase event this Saturday from noon to 3pm.

New Light: Illuminating artefacts, an exhibition at Craven Museum in Skipton Town Hall, will run until the end of July.

The exhibition is a body of work created by digital artist Paul Miller using the museum's diverse collection.

The exhibition will be open every day from 10am to 4pm, except Sundays.

Skipton Folk Unplugged will host a performance by Sam Dunkley starting at 8.30pm on Monday at the Narrow Boat, on Victoria Street.

SETTLE: The Settle Beer Festival will be held from Thursday, July 6, to Saturday, July 8, in Settle Victoria Hall.

The fundraising beer festival, which will support the hall itself, will feature 20 real ales, cider, wine and soft drinks. Food will also be on sale and there will be entertainment.

On the Thursday, the event runs from 5pm to 10pm and admission is £1. On the Friday and Saturday, admission is £3 and the event is open from noon to 10pm.

If there is any beer left, the festival will also be open from noon to 4pm on Sunday, July 9, but entry will be free.

There will be a £2 deposit on glasses at each session.

Following on from his 2010 exhibition, Canadian photographer Jim des Rivières will display a new collection of moth photographs at the Gallery on the Green in Settle from Saturday to September 18.

The exhibition includes 28 moth species found in the immediate locale of Jim’s home in Ottawa, Canada.

BARNOLDSWICK: Benji Kirkpatrick and The Excess will perform in concert at 7.30pm on Friday, July 14, in the Barnoldswick Music and Arts Centre, 18-22 Rainhall Road.
