SKIPTON Community Orchestra will hold a Christmas concert during the Skipton Yuletide Festival.
The orchestra will be playing a selection of festive tunes and carols inside Holy Trinity Church at 2pm on Sunday. This will be a free event.
The orchestra is known for its family-friendly performances and there will be plenty of opportunities for children to get involved with percussion instruments.
The programme will also include an arrangement of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, a musical version of the children’s fairy tale.
Skipton Community Orchestra welcomes musicians of all ages and abilities and has gone from strength to strength since it was founded in 2012.
The orchestra rehearses on the second and last Tuesday of every month in the Holy Trinity Church Vestry Rooms at 7.30pm. Visit skiptoncommunityorchestra.org.uk for further details.
