SKIPTON: Inspector Drake and the Black Widow, a family comedy by David Tristram, will be performed from Tuesday, June 12, to Saturday, June 16, at Skipton Little Theatre.

Craven Museum and Gallery will present an exhibition displaying a selection of artwork from the Clement Roebuck Collection from Friday, June 8, to Saturday, July 7, in Skipton Town Hall.

Two car films are being shown at Skipton Town Hall on Sunday to mark the annual Skipton Car Show.

Cars, the Pixar animated movie, will be shown at 1pm.

Then at 5pm there will be a screening of the classic 1960’s film The Italian Job.

The exhibition, The Celestial Landscape, an exploration of Yorkshire landscapes in mono print, linocut and bronze by Helen Peyton, will be on display in the Mill Bridge Gallery, 3 Mill Bridge, until Monday.

Skipton Film Club will screen Bicycle Thieves, a 1948 film about ordinary people surviving in the harsh environment of post war Rome, at 5.15pm on Sunday at the Plaza Cinema. Members and non members are welcome.

Skipton Folk Unplugged will present a performance by Ben Needham and Robin Petty on Monday at the Narrow Boat, on Victoria Street. Start time is 8.30pm.

SETTLE: Stories is Stone will hold its second anniversary ceilidh, featuring the Batty Moss Band, at 7.30pm Saturday in Settle Victoria Hall. Tickets cost £10.

The Ribblesdale Area Moving Picture Show (TRAMPS) will screen the film Frantz, a post World War One period piece about a German widow and a French soldier, at 7.45pm on Wednesday in Settle Victoria Hall. Tickets cost £5.

Breathe, an inspirational film about a polio sufferer who fights for the rights of disabled people, will be shown at 7.30pm on Thursday, June 7, in Settle Victoria Hall.

The film is being screened in conjunction with Settle Rotary. Tickets are free, but donations to the Rotary End Polio Now campaign are welcome.

Farms, Flags, Forges, an exhibition which focuses on the area’s farming, quarrying, and associated Dales occupations, will be on display at The Folly on June 24.

The Folly is also displaying the exhitbion Knitted Settle until December 22.

A new exhibition by Lois Brothwell, which features oil paintings of women galloping through the Dales on horseback, will be on display until Friday, July 6, at the Gallery on the Green.

BARNOLDSWICK: A Hold Tight It’s 60’s Night will be performed on Friday, June 8, in the Barnoldswick Music and Arts Centre, on Rainhall Road.

The evening will feature performances by Peter Hughes and Mick Carroll with The New Mindbenders, legendary mod band The Reaction, and Pete Barton and The Sixties All Stars.
