TWO summer concerts by the Cononley Singers will mark 40th anniversary of the film Grease.
The Cononley Singers will perform the Midsummer Musical Miscellany concert, which will feature a medley of Grease’s most memorable songs in a programme featuring a wide range of music.
The choir will sing songs from Les Miserables, including the iconic chorus One Day More, plus an arrangement of ELO’s Mr Blue Sky and other items classical and contemporary items.
The first concert will be held at 7.30pm on Friday, July 6, in Cononley Village Institute and the second concert will take place at 7.30pm on Saturday, July 7, at Christ Church in Skipton.
The Singers will also perform at Eastburn firm’s Fives Landis Limited open day on Saturday, July 21, at 11am and then in the evening on October 27 at Fountains Abbey.
