SKIPTON: Skipton Film Club will open its third season this Sunday with the screening of the Guillermo Del Toro’s Oscar-winning film The Shape of Water.

The film will be screened at 5.15pm on Sunday at the Plaza Cinema, on Sackville Street.

Members and non-members are welcome.

Skipton Players will perform the political comedy Whipping It Up at 7.30pm Tuesday, September 25, to Saturday, September 29, at Skipton Little Theatre.

The free exhibition Memento will be on display until Monday in the exhibition gallery at Skipton Town Hall.

The exhibition explores Skipton Town Hall itself - the building, the history and the people - using sound, paintings, video and projection mapping.

The exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm Mondays to Saturdays.

A Make and Take Crafts summer workshop will be held from 10am to noon today in Skipton Town Hall.

A tea dance featuring Blackpool Tower resident organist John Bowdler will be held at 1.30pm on Tuesday, September 11, in Skipton Town Hall. Tickets cost £8 including sweet treats and unlimited tea and coffee.

The Ribble Valley Moving Picture Show (TRAMPS) will screen the film Manashe at 7.45pm on Wednesday in Settle Victoria Hall.

There will be a screening of National Theatre Live: Julie at 7pm on Thursday, September 6.

Upcoming Victoria Hall concerts include A Foreigners Journey, a tribute to rock bands Foreigner and Journey, who will perform at 8pm on Saturday, September 8, and Scottish band Niteworks, who will perform at 7.30pm on Sunday, September 9.

The Epiphany Ensemble will perform at 7:30pm tonight in Settle Parish Church.

The concert will feature a programme including Borodin’s Nocturne, Pachelbel’s Canon, Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Waltz, Williams’ Schindler’s List theme and Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.

The exhibitions Knitted Settle, 1918: The Long Last Mile and Life and Tradition in the Yorkshire Dales - A Celebration, will be on display at The Folly until December 22.

Archaos, an exhibition by Ingrid Stephenson which explores creation and decay, will be on display at the Gallery on the Green until Saturday, September 8.

BARNOLDSWICK: Legendary rocker John Verity will perform a free concert this Sunday at the Barnoldswick Music and Arts Centre, on Rainhall Road.

Dave Speight will give a Masterclass in the Blues free concert on Monday, September 24.

Folk singer Sam Kelly and banjo player Jamie Francis will perform on Wednesday, September 26, and award-winning singer songwriter Kaz Hawkins with special guest Sam York will perform on Thursday, September 27.

CROSS HILLS: Creative Fusion – A Journey, an exhibition of creative work by people supported by Horton Housing Association in the Craven area, will go on display in Cross Hills Library from Wednesday, September 12, to Wednesday, September 26.

The exhibition includes drawings, paintings, poetry and prose.

GIGGLESWICK: La Bohéme on Sydney Harbour will be screened at 7.15pm on Thursday, September 13, in the Richard Whiteley Theatre.

GLUSBURN: Glusburn Fallfest, an arts, music and theatre festival, will take place from Friday, September 21, to Sunday, September 23, at the Glusburn Institute.

The Fallfest starts with a Schools Great Fallfest Sing Off at 9.45am on the Friday.

The comedy play, The Last Resort, will be performed at 7.30pm on the Friday and 2pm on the Sunday.

A number of family activities will be held during the day on the Saturday.

David Live!, a tribute act to David Bowie, will be the headline act for a concert at 7.30pm on Saturday. Local singer Callum Spencer will open the evening.

A beer and gin festival will run all weekend, with opening times from 5.30pm to 11pm on Friday, 11.30am to 11.30pm on Saturday and noon to 5pm on Sunday.

SUTTON-IN-CRAVEN: The Green Hut Theatre Company will stage the Vicar of Dibley 2 at 7.15pm on Friday, September 7, and Saturday, September 8, in Sutton Village Hall.
