STAGE 84 has announced places are available for dance fusion classes established at Skipton Girls High School on a Wednesday evening.

New students joining in September will have the opportunity to perform in Stage 84’s Christmas Spectacular at The Alhambra Theatre, Bradford, at the end of November.

A spokesman also said that weekly drama students, who attend Saturday morning classes at Skipton Girls High School, have spent the summer holidays working on their acting pieces for accredited examinations with the Trinity College London examination board which take place in October. New places in these classes will be available soon.

Recently Stage 84 ran a summer school for young people from the Skipton area with workshops in cheerleading, acting, freestyle dance, singing and musical theatre, where a show was put together in just four days performed for family and friends.

Classes run by Stage 84 at Skipton Girls High School include drama workshop on a Saturdays for ages 7 to 10 from 9.30am to 10.30am, ages 11 to 13 from 10.30am to 11.30am and age 14 upwards from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

Wednesday dance fusion classes for juniors run from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and seniors from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
