CARL and Dave Comedy Magic will bring their #MyPinkBin tour to Glusburn Institute Community and Arts Centre on Saturday, November 17.

A spokesman for the two magicians said: “Mixing up comedy, much campness, impressive illusions and knock-about fun, this show bursts into life and makes for fabulous entertainment.

“The trickery is original, the banter between the two highly amusing and, come the end, you really will sense you had seen something quite unusual.

“Even if for large parts of the show you suspect the guys are busking it, there’s no mistaking that these are serious magicians at play, and loving it.”

Carl and Dave are two friends, both magicians, who perform magic for a living. They joined forces in 2010, to create a comedy double act.

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost from £8 to £12 or £36 for a group ticket.

The institute will also screen the film The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society at 7.30pm on Friday, October 5.

The film, starring Lily James, is about free-spirited journalist Juliet Ashton, who forms a life-changing bond with the eccentric Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.

The bar opens at 7pm but the film starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5.
