I WOULD like to offer my sincere thanks to the voters of Glusburn, Cross Hills and Sutton in Craven for their support following my re election to the North Yorkshire County Council. I will continue be active and accessible in our local communities.
With the changeover to the unitary council next April there’s a vitally important role ahead for all newly elected councillors to ensure it provides good and accessible services that residents deserve. The existing remoteness of the county council felt by many of South Craven residents will have to change for local decision making to succeed in the new authority.
I will do my best for all of South Craven’s residents.
Thank you again.
County Cllr Philip Barrett (Independent)
Glusburn, Cross Hills and Sutton in Craven Division.
