The work of Craven College fashion and clothing students is featured in an exhibition at The Platform Gallery of Contemporary Craft, Clitheroe.

Those with work on display include National Diploma in Fashion student Alice Chatburn and Foundation Diploma students Robbie Michelson, Jack Hargreaves, Scarlett Harrison, Kay Brannan, Hannah Jones and Ben Chatburn.

Theresa Savage, divisional manager of the college’s School of Art and Design, said: “The exhibition at the Platform Gallery is a new and wonderful opportunity for our fashion and clothing students to present an innovative and richly colourful series of garments. The diversity of shapes, colours, textures and themes hits you immediately you enter the space.”

Fashion lecturer Joan Murray added: “This is a real step forward for Craven College students, to have their innovative and exciting garments in such a prestigious public gallery.”

Their work will be on show until Friday October 9. Opening times are Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4.30pm.
