SKIPTON: Humans of the Dales Exhibition, featuring portraits and interviews collected in the Yorkshire Dales. Artists Carine Brosse and Sam Dakin, will be on display until Monday, May 28, in Skipton Town Hall.

The exhibition, commissioned by Grassington Festival, will be open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday. Entry is free.

The exhibition Elsewhere, by award-winning artist Bridget Tempest, will be on display in the Gallery, 3 Mill Bridge, until Saturday, April 28.

The exhibition, which is a collaboration with Craven Arts, will feature lithograph artwork.

A tea dance featuring music by Blackpool Tower resident organist John Bowdler will be held at 1.30pm on Tuesday in Skipton Town Hall.

Fun family show Where’s My Igloo Gone? will staged at 4pm on Thursday, April 26, in Skipton Town Hall.

The play, set in the Arctic in an icy world of snow geese and starry nights, tells the story of a girl called Oolik, who discovers that her igloo home is melting and goes on an adventure to find help.

The Unknown Soldier will be performed at 7.30pm on Friday, April 27, in Skipton Town Hall.

SETTLE: A poetry event marking the opening of the 2018 season for Settle Sessions will be held at 7.30pm tomorrow in Settle Victoria Hall.

It will feature poets Mike Harding, who will be reading from his latest publication Fishing For Ghosts, and Jean Stevens, who will be launching her new book Driving in the Dark.

The Swing City Big Band will perform in concert at 8pm this Saturday, and then at 2.30pm on Wednesday Giggleswick Railway Circle: Sir Thomas Bouch will visit the Victoria Hall.
