Craven soap star Peter Armitage, who plays Coronation Street’s Bill Webster, will host a 1940s event at Skipton’s Rendezvous Hotel next month.
The World War Two- themed evening will include appearances by Haworth Home Guard and 1940s-style entertainer Paul Harper.
Guests, who are encouraged to dress in 1940s attire, will enjoy food from the period and a lesson in jiving.
The event is on Friday, February 8, and tickets cost £25, with the proceeds for Sue Ryder’s Manorlands Hospice and the Yorkshire Society.
