Organisers of the Salterforth Fun Day will give £3,630 to local groups raised at this year’s event.
Salterforth Primary School will be given £500, and £450 will go towards the renovation of the war memorial in Salterforth village.
Barnoldswick and Earby Bosom Friends and Pendleside Hospice will receive £400 each and Salterforth Women’s Institute will get £350 for the provision of senior citizens’ Christmas lunch.
A total of £200 will go towards essential maintenance and improvements to Salterforth playing field.
Other recipients awarded £200 are Barnoldswick and Earby First Responders, the Sam Shaw appeal and Yorkshire Air Ambulance A further £180 will be donated to Age Concern and £150 contributions go to repairs to Salterforth Village Hall and a charity firework and bonfire night at the Anchor Inn.
Barnoldswick 1st West Craven Scout Group and Colne First Aid Service will get £100 each and Salterforth Chapel £50.
Next year’s fun day will on be on Sunday, June 8.
