BANCROFT Mill at Barnoldswick played host to Westfield Sports Car Club members when they made their first official visit to the museum.
The first car to arrive was owned and driven by Bob Whittaker and was a very early Westfield which is often seen around Clitheroe, Rimington and the district. In British Racing Green, it eventually stole the show with its beautiful lines, superb condition and longevity.
The Westfield factory in Kingswinford makes about 300 ready-built and kit cars per year and was represented by managing director Julian Turner.
Company chairman Frank Turner has links to Bancroft - his grandmother, May Robinson, taught her three daughters to weave at the mill.
