Cancer Research UK held its second annual charity fundraiser at The Royal Shepherd in Skipton, netting £500.
It was again organised by Joanne Metcalfe, who manages the Cancer Research shop in Skipton High Street, backed by a small army of helpers.
The event was also staged specially to coincide with the first anniversary since mine hosts Ben and Natasha Oldfield took over the tenancy at the popular Canal Street hostelry.
On the agenda during the day were a host of activities, including hook-a-duck, tin can alley, face painting, loom band making, guess the number of sweets in a jar, decorated biscuits, a letter hunt, raffle and tombola, for which prizes had been donated by generous local businesses and individuals.
The evening was given over to a disco, karaoke and live entertainment from local vocalist Jessica Ann Wilson.
Joanne thanked the Royal Shepherd, all who had given prizes, Cancer Research volunteers who assisted on the day and everyone who contributed in helping to ensure the event proved such a resounding success.
Ben and Natasha also added their own thanks to all customers who had supported them during their first year at the pub.
