CRAVEN Royal British Legion welfare volunteer Stephen Walpole will be taking part in the organisation's Festival of Remembrance service at London's Royal Albert Hall.
He will be taking part in the 'drumhead' service on Saturday, as well as marching to the the capital's Cenotaph on Sunday.
The light blue Army Air Corps beret of Stephen, who lives in Skipton, is a familiar sight at British Legion parades in the area, and he also performs regularly with the town branch's Corps of Drums.
He has been the Skipton legion's services secretary for several years, with the job of responding to requests for help from the town's ex-servicemen and women.
