TICKETS for the headline acts at the 2015 Grassington Festival go on general sale from Monday.

As the Craven Herald revealed last month, the Festival in the Field events will include a Last Night of the Proms extravaganza, with Skipton Building Society Camerata and special guests on Wednesday, June 24.

They will be followed on Thursday, June 25, by an evening with poet, writer, broadcaster and entertainer Pam Ayres and on Friday, June 26, by contemporary folk band Bellowhead.

And the two-week music and arts festival will conclude on Saturday, June 27, with a Last Night Party featuring Roland Gift from Fine Young Cannibals and special guests Heaven 17.

The full festival line-up will be announced in the spring.

Meanwhile, acts are being sought for the Grassington Festival Fringe. The closing date for applications is January 23 and more details and application forms are available on the festival website.
