FOR the third year, the Phoenix Ceilidh Band will perform at a New Year gig at Glusburn Institute.
Phoenix has roots in the Irish music tradition of the West Riding of Yorkshire. It mixes songs from a range of traditional and contemporary sources with a repertoire of jigs, reels, hornpipe, polkas, mazurkas and slides.
The gig will take place on Saturday at 7.30pm and admission is £6 at the door.
