SILSDEN band The Escapades have won the finals of the annual Soundwaves competition.
The band last weekend wowed a crowd of more than 1,200 people at Leeds O2 Academy as they played three of their own songs.
After the announcement that they had beaten the other 11 finalists, The Escapades were invited back on stage to perform two more songs.
A band spokesman said he and his fellow musicians had rehearsed extensively at Silsden Sports Club including several late nights.
He added: “We wish to thank all involved with Silsden AFC for their encouragement, help and support on our rise up the ladder.”
