CONONLEY Primary School was a sea of red on Friday.
Pupils took part in Wear Red for Heart Day in support of the Children's Heart Surgery Fund, which helps local children who are born with congenital heart defects by providing support for families and cutting edge medical technology.
The charity has particular significance at Cononley as year two pupil Amelie Brown has undergone heart surgery and will need further operations in the future.
To mark Wear Red day, Myriam Barker, who works for the Children's Heart Surgery Fund, presented an assembly along with her special friend Katie Bear.
"We raised a considerable amount of money on the day which will go straight to the fund," said headteacher Paula Hillman.
