Police appeal for witnesses to Pacegate collision
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a collision near Beamsley last Wednesday.
They say the collision occurred at about 9.10am on the A59 near to Pacegate between a white HGV travelling towards Skipton and a small white car travelling in the opposite direction towards Harrogate.
The car failed to stop at the scene. However, its nearside wing mirror was left at the scene and has been identified as being from a Peugeot 107, a Toyota Aygo or Yaris, or a Citroen C1.
