THREE pupils from Giggleswick Primary School took part in the recent UK Accordion Championships in Liverpool - and returned home triumphant and weighed down with trophies, shields and awards!
The event - organised by The National Accordion Organisation of the United Kingdom - saw 11-year-old Honey Kaup-Samuels take top honours in the higher preparatory solo.
She was also second in the preparatory duet with Mollie Howarth and third in the 11 and under musette.
Mollie, ten, took top place in the introductory solo.
Louisa Bullock, 11, was runner-up in both the higher preparatory solo and musette, but came first in the higher preparatory duet with another North Craven pupil, Talullah Williams.
All three girls - pupils of Harry Hinchcliffe - took part in the Craven School of Music Preparatory Group performance and were placed second.
The girls regularly perform in school and as part of the school’s orchestra.
