A WOMAN suffered a suspected fractured pelvis when her car hit a tree on Friday night.

The 32-year-old, from Barnoldswick, had to be cut from the wreckage by local firefighters.

Police say she was travelling towards Barnoldswick when her Corsa apparently skidded on loose chippings on Church Road, Thornton-in Craven, just before 10pm.

She was treated at Airedale Hospital, Steeton.
