DETAILED plans for a development of 29 new homes on the outskirts of Gargrave are being recommended for approval.
Outline permission for the development on a triangular piece of land between Hellifield Road and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, was given two years ago.
On Monday, Craven District Council's planning committee is being recommended to approve full planning for 29 homes, ranging from one-bed homes to five-bed houses. Of the 29, 12 are set to be affordable.
Gargrave Parish Council has asked for the current 30mph speed limit through the village to be extended to take in the new development and also an extension of the footpath next to the main road.
